Capitol Watch ArchivesWhenever issues of interest or importance happen at the State Capitol, the IASA will provide members with not only the facts, but also an analysis regarding what legislative proposals mean, potential impacts and what counter-proposals might emerge. The Capitol Watch reports are timely and delivered electronically.
Capitol Watch is intended to complement the comprehensive Alliance Legislative Report, which tracks education legislation as it makes its way through the General Assembly, and also is electronically delivered to IASA members when there is action on important legislation.
“It is extremely important that school superintendents develop relationships with their legislators so lawmakers will seek their opinions on key education issues. If you care about the future of public education, you must care about legislation.”Diane Hendren
