    IASA offers members 24/7 crisis communications support. Our trained communications professional can help draft press releases and messages for your school district, as well provide support in navigating media relations.     IASA also keeps members informed on the latest education news via a daily newsletter, Eye on Education. In addition, IASA publishes a digital magazine, Leadership Matters, for members each month and produces the IASA Podcast. IASA’s communications team also plays a key role in creating toolkits, producing videos and marketing IASA programs.

     

    Jason Nevel About IASA’s Director of Communications

    Jason Nevel joined IASA in 2018 and currently oversees written, audio and video communications. He previously served as a reporter for The State Journal-Register for seven years, where he covered education, state government and local news. Mr. Nevel graduated from Western Illinois University and earned a masters degree in Public Affairs Reporting from the University of Illinois-Springfield.
