IASA partners with Environmental Consultants, LLC on free program for schools
In an attempt to get out ahead of environmental issues including a new law that requires school buildings to be equipped with carbon monoxide detectors, IASA has partnered with Environmental Consultants, LLC on a free program to assist school districts.
The program, called "Tools for Schools," includes a kit to help school districts develop a framework for managing buildings and mitigating environmental issues. To download a copy of the Tools for Schools Kit, go to http://www.epa.gov/iaq/schools/actionkit.html
"Environmental issues have always been a problem for schools and we wanted to help school districts anticipate and plan for those issues," said IASA Executive Director Dr. Brent Clark. "We believe this partnership with Environmental Consultants can really help school districts position themselves to avoid or mitigate environmental problems. The service is free to our members and we encourage school districts to take advantage of this opportunity."
