• ESSENTIALISM/WORK-LIFE BALANCE

    Half-Day Workshop, not academy

“Essentialism” focuses on a minimalist - or essentialist - approach so important goals may be brought to the forefront of our lives. This approach assures that the choices made move one from a multitasking environment to one that emphasizes limiting and setting goals, defining those goals clearly, setting everything else aside and refraining from taking on additional responsibilities. Leaders can apply essentialist principles by identifying a clear focus and clearly defined roles for team members. This approach facilitates clear communication, removal of obstacles to the goals and choosing the best team members. Furthermore, identifying and emphasizing important personal as well as professional goals facilitates balancing the home and work lives, which in turn improves health, relationships, effectiveness at work, and satisfaction with life. Participants will learn and practice tools, strategies and approaches they can apply immediately.
