IASA is excited to announce a new opportunity for Assistant Superintendents and other Central Office School Administrators to connect with peers from across the state and engage in thought-provoking conversations on timely topics. Level Up Leadership is the first statewide cohort of its kind in Illinois. The two-year cohort will launch in September 2022 and run through May 2024.

    Why We Are Doing This
You spoke. We listened. This initiative was developed based off feedback from the field. The format was designed by Assistant Superintendents and Central Office School Administrators who wanted a unique learning and networking opportunity exclusive to them.

    What to Expect
During each meeting, participants will learn about and discuss a variety of topics, including but not limited to: leadership strategies, post-COVID learning, recruitment and retention of staff, grant writing, legal hot topics, advocacy and legislation, strategic planning and social-emotional learning.

Our goal is for participants to walk away with practical and tangible ideas they can take back to their daily work. We also recognize everyone has a busy schedule. As a result, this experience will not add extra responsibilities to your workload.

    Meeting Dates
Participants will meet quarterly in person at the IASA headquarters in Springfield. Each meeting will be 1 ½ days (full day Thursday, half day Friday).
